Did you tell the CER, ESB and Bord Gais what you think?

Did anyone actually go to the public consultation meeting on Monday morning, 10am, in the Gresham Hotel? The hoteliers came out strongly against the price rises anyway according to the Irish Independent.

I wonder was there a “good turnout“?

The presentations given by the ESB and Bord Gais at the meetings, justifying their price rise requests, are available here.

I gave up after 3 pages on the Bord Gais one. I wonder what the powerpoint gurus have to say about them?

I would have liked to go but I work – wasn’t going to take annual leave or go ‘sick’ for the ‘consultation.’
Perhaps they got lots of old ones with their free travel and fired up by the medical card fiasco attending. That could have been fun.

Would have been a way to spend a cold Monday morning I suppose Mick, with some free tea and biscuits.

Apart from the links to the presentations on the site, and a couple of quotes in the newspapers, I haven’t seen any details on who or how many did go along.
