You really gotta love Ryanair. Really. You do!

Following this blog post last week regarding the alleged possibility that you could get free Ryanair flights, Ryanair staff engaged in a not so nice way in the comments section of the blog. Then, the official follow up from Ryanair this week:

“Ryanair can confirm that a Ryanair staff member did engage in a blog discussion. It is Ryanair policy not to waste time and energy in corresponding with idiot bloggers and Ryanair can confirm that it won’t be happening again.

“Lunatic bloggers can have the blog sphere all to themselves as our people are far too busy driving down the cost of air travel”.

But before you get excited about free Ryanair flights, while the blogger in question did get a price quoted of €0.00 including taxes, I don’t think he was able to confirm a flight. I’ve asked twice, but have been ignored.

You’ve been ignored???? There is, and has been for quite some time, the following clarification on that post: “CLARIFICATION: I did not claim to complete the booking process for a free flight. I found a bug that showed a 0.00 price listed beside flights. Orders could not go past the passenger details page.”

@Jim – Thanks for letting me know Jim. I’m not in the habit of going back to recheck websites following first reading. I had commented, and also sent an e-mail to Jason. The e-mail was ignored, yes.
